When the words “free” and “pretzel” are uttered in the same sentence, many a people like me tend to get excited and hungry at the same time! Well fear no more, because on April 26th that fantasy will turn into a reality!  The beloved Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, which have been uber popular for several years across the country, will be offering one free Honey Whole Grain Pretzel at several of its Manhattan locations.  I have actually tried this particular pretzel in the past, and it has a great taste to it with less calories and less of a guilt factor when having it!

This will occur between the hours of 10am and 2pm at the following Manhattan locations:

    • 42nd & 8th
    • Rockefeller Center
    • Penn Station
    • Penn Station Amtrak
    • Port Authority of NY & NJ Bus Terminal
    • Macy’s on 34th street

Matt Simon, the director of Marketing for Auntie Anne’s, had this to say regarding this special day- “There’s no better way for us to celebrate National Pretzel Day than to enjoy it with our fans, so we’re thrilled to be giving away our new Honey Whole Grain Pretzel free of charge.  We’re excited to wow Auntie Anne’s first-timers, and we’re equally pleased to reward our loyal customer base,” said Matt Simon, Director of Marketing. “Pretzels are an ideal snack for the New York City commuter. Not only does our new Honey Whole Grain Pretzel taste good, it boasts one daily serving of whole grains, six grams of fiber and just 300 calories, meeting the lifestyle needs of consumers desiring a freshly-baked, better-for-you option.”

So what are you waiting for? Stop by any of these great locations next Friday.  Whether you are traveling in and out of New York, heading to your next meeting or just need a quick snack on your lunch break, this is a quick and yummy fix that will satisfy not only your taste buds but your wallet as well.  For more information on this and all of their products log on to Auntie Anne’s website!
