One of my favorite burger joints in New York City is pairing up with an amazing craft beer company to celebrate the best of two worlds all under one roof. Tonight, the 5 Napkin Burger location in Union Square, right off the L train, will be hosting a Captain Lawrence Beer Dinner tonight at 7pm. The event will pair some of the best seasonal craft beers with 5 Napkin Burger’s signature dishes that have made them one of the best burger places to go to in the best city for food in the world.
The folks at 5 Napkin and Captain Lawrence Brewery have perfectly paired three seasonal craft brews with the restaurants modern bistro style-burgers and comfort food including a selection of appetizers like the Pimento Cheese Potato Skins and Richie’s Beer Mac & cheese, choice of a variety of juicy burgers like the signature 5 Napkin – 10oz of freshly-ground beef with Gruyere cheese, caramelized onions topped with rosemary aioli and the B.B.L.T – 8oz. of fresh ground beef, cider-braised bacon, lettuce, tomato and spicy mayo. For dessert, enjoy the restaurant’s riff on an ice cream classic with Coffee IPA Ice Cream Sandwiches.
Sounds like a freaking delicious night by our standards! What is even better is that for a Manhattan Digest exclusive, anyone who wants to go will get $10 off the ticket price for the event! Saving money on beer and burgers is always a good thing in my book. The link to the event is here, and the code for $10 off is CL10. Hope you all can make this fun event!
