What do you get when you combine one of the most delicious steakhouses in New York City with a super fun contest involving some of the best wine in the world? You get the legendary midtown location of Strip House who will be auctioning off an 18-liter bottle of Croix de Beaucaillou where the winner of the auction will receive quite the treat that they can share between themselves and a ton of friends.
Strip House is a personal favorite of ours at Manhattan Digest, having reviewed them over two years ago to a near perfect meal. This contest just shows the levels of depths of class and deocr that they will go to to get their clientele even more interested in them. Touted as “New York City’s largest bottle of wine”, the Croix de Beaucaillou is one of a kind, containing 24 servings in 1 and showcasing a label designed by Mick Jagger’s daughter and jewelry designer, Jade Jagger.
Today through Friday, April 15th, guests can place their bids. The lucky winner will receive an exclusive meal for up to 24 people at Strip House’s Midtown location (exclusive of tax and gratuity) where the wine will be served, and is currently being housed. The meal will be personally curated by Strip House Corporate Executive Chef, Michael Vignola. Additionally, the winner will get to keep the bottle itself and its original coffin as souvenirs.
The minimum bid for this is $7,500. For more information, check out their official site. Good luck with the bidding and happy eating and drinking everyone!
