The Fab designs for the TurnStyle shop draw inspiration from a commitment to expressive colors and forms. The “push and pull” theme makes use of recessed shelving and geometric display units to allow for a modular retail environment. Fab hopes to interject a vibrant personality into the NYC Subway, while playing host to fun and unique products.

Emily Holt, Fab’s Creative Director in Residence says, “Fab focuses on products that are lively and engaging, so having a physical space in which they can be shared with customers makes a lot of sense. Additionally, Fab’s product assortment—like a Unicorn Emoji Portable Charger— is intended to make people smile. Who, in the middle of their underground commute, couldn’t use a spark of joy?
