Let’s face it- for the people that live in New York City, an area that we kind of/sort of have come to despise over recent years is Times Square. Yes, Times Square, the biggest tourist spot in the world, is full of a bunch of eye sores that many of us turn a blind eye to each time we are in this overpacked location. However, there are a few standout restaurants in the midst of the craziness that make you forget about the annoying visitors and focus on the good night ahead. With all the crazy cold weather we’ve been getting, I couldn’t think of a better place to escape to than a delicious Cuban experience at Havana Central, located on 46th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue.

The BBG Brings The Classic Steakhouse To Life With A Twist
Vegetarians aside (no shade), everyone loves a perfectly cooked steak. Steakhouses in and out of New York are pretty common for us NYC and Long Island folk, yet a lot of them seem to echo the same type of menu without much differentiation. Well, that all changed for me last night when I tried a brand new location called The BBG, located in the heart of East Williston. The BBG, which is short for “The Butcher’s Bar & Grill”, takes the Steakhouse concept and elevates it to an entirely new level with its Mediterranean influence thrown in on the side. It makes for a duality that really sang to us when we stopped by there last night.
