Brunch is to most New Yorkers what Peanut Butter is to Jelly, or what Britney Spears is to crazy circa 2007. It just fits. There is a bevy of places you can go to for so many different types of delicious dishes, and they always include a tasty beverage (or 5) of choice to enjoy with your friends and family. Well, one of our favorite places at Manhattan Digest, Copper Kettle Kitchen, has some pretty great deals for their weekend brunch. The Upper East Side Staple will be doing brunch from 12-4 on Saturdays and Sundays, and have quite a lot in store for you to enjoy.

Guests should be sure to start with the Homemade Biscuits with sweet fennel sausage ($11) for the table while they decide on the rest of their meals. Classics include an Eggs Benedict and Steel Cut Oatmeal, and from there things get a little more interesting. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with fall spiced butter and Vermont maple syrup are a standout, as is the Brunchy Flat topped with a fried egg, pancetta, scallions and gruyere – the omelette on offer is not to be missed either, stuffed with black trumpet mushrooms and fresh mozzarella, drizzled with truffle oil (all priced at $14).

And no brunch is complete without a little bit of liquid indulgence, which is where the restaurants Comfort Cocktails ($10) make their debut. The Rise & Shine will wake you right up with Elijah Craig bourbon, fresh lemon and lime juice, egg white, cane syrup, absinthe and bitter – while the fainter of heart may want to go with the More Mosa, composed of prosecco, orange juice and cranberry compote.
