More Great Cinco De Mayo Locations to Celebrate at in Manhattan!

by Brad Johnson

We love our holidays over here at Manhattan Digest, especially with a big one coming up on Thursday- Cinco De Mayo!  We found you some pretty great places to celebrate last week, and we couldn’t get enough so we have found a couple more for you to peruse in three days!  Sit back, relax, eat, drink, and have a damn good time at any of these locations!

 ThomsNachos
The fiesta will be in full force at Professor Thom’s (219 Second Avenue)! FREE NACHOS, patio games (bobbing for lemons, beer pong, and more), and drink specials. There will be prizes raffled off throughout the day and free raffle tickets given to anyone wearing a sombrero. Olé!

At Boulton & Watt (5 Avenue A), Partner and Beverage Director Jaime Felber is transforming vegetables into glassware and serving “For Whom the Bell Tolls” ($13). The cocktail is a delicious concoction of Ilegal Mezcal, lime, Cointreau, agave, and red bell pepper juice served inside a bell pepper.
Studio Kraut Marg
Studio Kraut (160 8th Avenue), which just opened in February, is celebrating their first Cinco de Mayo with a full day of drink specials. From 12-8pm, enjoy $4 Coronas, $7 Corona and tequila shots, and $7 Blood Orange Frozen Margaritas complete with a gummy lime garnish.

In honor of May 5th, Zeppelin Hall will be offering half price beers, wine and cocktails from open till close. Guests can pair any of the amazing beers they have on tap with tasty menu selections including five different kinds of nachos and Surf and Turf tacos! It’s the perfect place to enjoy a taco and margarita with your best buds… and if the weather holds up the biergarten is officially open!
