Fire Island Pines is one of those magical spots that you must visit at least once during the summer. It is a great way to escape the concrete jungle we know as Manhattan and to find yourself surrounded by beautiful beaches, delicious food, and yummy men and women who are there to have a damn good time. We have seen it profiled on the LOGO hit show Fire Island, but there is so much more to see outside of what’s on television for you to experience yourself first hand.
Here are four amazing spots you must hit up this summer when you are in the Fire Island Pines! Relax, have a drink, grab a bite to eat and have a damn good time!

It’s the only establishment in the Pines that offers all-season, sit-down dinner, with a sophisticated cocktail lounge ambiance. The bistro menu changes on a regular basis, depending on what’s fresh, in season and appealing, any given weekend. The Pines is open nightly from 6pm-11pm beginning May 11th, closed on Tuesdays. The Blue Whale: The multi-faceted Blue Whale offers Yacht Club dining nightly (except Wednesdays) in addition to weekend and holiday brunches, nightly Teas, a weekend piano bar and more, to suit a wide range of tastes. The Blue Whale offers small plates that showcase a special spin on tapas, featuring fresh, local market produce, top regional fish and seafood, as well as premium meats and poultry. Guests are invited to dine al fresco with unobstructed water views or intimately in the restaurant’s dining/cabaret room, at a Tea Dance, by the piano, all for a simple elegant dining. The Pavilion: The Pavilion has been the resort mecca for DJs and dance music from Memorial Day, to Labor Day for decades. With New York City-quality lighting and sound, world-class talent and the hottest iconic musicians come in weekly from around the world to play for crowds that dance ‘til dawn (and beyond). Newer events like Fun Tea and Showtunes Sundays bring crowds to the dance floor each weekend. The Pavilion rose from ashes three years ago and has reclaimed its place in the Dance Party’s night sky.
