As if New Yorkers needed another reason to visit the Upper East Side, there is another good one worth your while. Matii Salon has opened up and here to give beauties a new perception on life through their hair!
Stepping onto the mezzanine level at 875 Third Avenue, you’ll notice a motif of all the shops on that floor. They all focus on health & beauty on some capacity and Matii Salon fits right in. The floor to ceiling windows within the salon creates an open and inviting environment which should be a criterion, if you ask me!
Salon Owner/Master Colorist & Stylist Bernhards Ziverts has been in the hair industry for over 30 years, with an extensive background in various hair trends. The dry haircut technique, understanding the diverse color palettes and distinct hair textures are some of the things Ziverts is an expert in making his salon a one stop shop.

Knowing this would only make sense for Matii Salon to celebrate their opening on National Beautician Day. Yes, there is a day where we celebrate the people who we trust with taking our looks to the next level! Celebrity Chef Chris Nirschel was in attendance, gracing patrons with some specialty cocktails and light bites as they waited to be transformed. Talk about feeling luxurious!
Besides Matii Salon providing expertise in hair care/styling, they use the best products like Wella, Goldwell & Oribe that focus on specific hair issues.
The salon itself is also unisex friendly, as they provide a ton of fantastic options for men who want to spruce up their hairstyle in the hippest city in the world!
Open from Tuesday to Saturday, Matii Salon accepts clients through appointments to be able to better serve you and your hair care needs.
