New Yorkers are known for appreciating a weekend away to a serene place, whether it be alone or in company with friends and family. Something about leaving on Friday and returning on a Sunday that just screams “I’m here to release“.
The Seaport District in Boston just might have to be on that checklist of places to escape to for the weekend. Engulfing into the Bostonian culture while relishing in all of the adventure that the harbor area has to offer is not the only reason to visit. YOTEL Boston just opened up in the area, making it their second US location.
If you’re not familiar with the YOTEL brand, you have been missing out! YOTEL presents affordable luxury hotel rooms, also known as cabins with a futuristic twist. The motif of the brand is inspired by the experience one may get while traveling first class. Each room is unique in size yet equivalent while providing the necessary elements of a luxury hotel with the added technology-impelled guest experience.
YOTEL Boston has also introduced a contemporary indoor/outdoor rooftop bar and terrace called the Sky Lounge which is located on the 12th floor. Having a place outside of the room to congregate makes relaxing a lot better, especially when it is an outdoor terrace. Nothing yells glass of pinot grigio more than an outdoor patio.
Synonymous with the other YOTEL locations would be the seamless self check-in kiosk that simplifies the long awaited check-in process that we all dread. In addition, YOTEL Boston has a new* tech feature unique to this location the ATOM. A 84-inch digital ‘Social Galaxy’ displayed on a screen in Mission Control where guests can interact via their social media channels. If that doesn’t scream 2020 then I don’t what will!
The cabins were constructed to provide patrons with everything they need from YOTEL’s trademark SmartBed’s, Techno-walls with smart TVs, mood lighting and of course a monsoon rain shower. There are several room layouts offered to suite any size party from Premium Queen to First King and a VIP Suite.
Along with opening new locations, YOTEL is also placing an emphasis on health & wellness with their collaboration with MindFresh, a company which serves inspiration for thoughtful meditation in the modern workplace.
This initiative is here to provide guests with access to a fun, quick and instructional videos showcasing how one can easily relax and unwind while away from home. To learn more about the YOTEL x Mindfresh partnership click here.
Next time you’re planning a trip to Boston YOTEL should be your first and last stop!
