Although the day is ultimately dedicated to the Mexican army’s unlikely victory over the French forces of Napoleon III on May 5th, 1862, at the Battle of Puebla, many see it as a celebration for that, life and so much more, and we have five spots you’ll want to visit this coming Saturday.

Dos Caminos will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo all weekend long (5/4 – 5/6) at all 5 locations in the city. There will be food and drink specials, live entertainment and giveaways. Also, the Times Square location we’ll be staying open LATE – until 4:00 am on Friday and Saturday night. Handcraft Kitchen & Cocktails: 367 Third Avenue
In a joint celebration of the Mexican Army’s win over the French Empire at the battle of Pueblo and the most exciting two minutes in sports (Kentucky Derby), HandCraft is mixing things up by offering guests Bourbon Margaritas and Tequila Juleps ($8 each).
