The Bacon Brothers Rock Out at City Winery Next Week!

by Brad Johnson

What happens when you pair a legendary actor and his equally talented brother together, at one of the best places in New York City to hear live music, for two nights of epic fun and jams?  You get The Bacon Brothers, who will be stopping by the legendary City Winery this Monday and Tuesday for an intimate concert with their legions of fans.

City Winery bills itself as “striving to deliver the highest-end combined culinary and cultural experience to our customers who are passionate in sharing wine, music, and culinary arts. We are a unique facility, combining a fully functioning winery with intimate concerts, food & wine classes, private events in a variety of configurations, and fine dining. We have created a compelling mix for our sophisticated clientele of foodies, and active cultural patrons—bringing the wine country experience to the middle of a large city.”  Essentially- great drink, food and music.  What else could you ask for?

The Bacon Brothers have quite the illustrious history together as well.  Long before Kevin Bacon launched his prolific stage and screen career, and before Michael Bacon became known as a go-to composer for film and television, they were just two brothers, born nine years apart, coming of age in Center City Philadelphia. By the mid-90s, they were performing together as The Bacon Brothers, with a signature blend of folk/rock and country.  Now, they are returning to City Winery for two great nights of their amazing music.

Meet and Greets are available for both nights, with doors, dinner and drinks opening at 6PM.  Tickets are available here.
