Bacon to me is what Peanut Butter is to Jelly, or what my love life is to being single, it just fits! Millions of people across the country are bacon enthusiasts, especially here in New York City. Well, one event is back at it in Williamsburg, that celebrates the love for Bacon and beyond, and it is all taking place in late September. This is called “The Great Big Bacon Picnic”. Oink!

Praised as “The Bacon Event of the Year” by top food bloggers last year, The Great Big Bacon Picnic is on for September 24 & 25, 2016. This weekend long, indoor/outdoor gourmet celebration of the most delicious item on earth – BACON – will once again be held at the Old Pfizer Factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

This dynamic festival will showcase the talents of over 100 of the NYC area’s top restaurants, chefs, food trucks, brew masters, distillers, and mixologists and will feature three different sessions of inspired bite sized bacon dishes and the best in craft beers & specialty cocktails. With music from Brooklyn’s own High & Mighty Brass Band (Bonnaroo, Governors Ball) and other local talent, the organizers – Lon & Craig Taylor of Great Big Food Events – have created a festival that gives bacon lovers a truly gluttonous and unique culinary experience.
