October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and a variety of companies in and out of Manhattan will be throwing events in support of the fight against Breast Cancer. For health nuts out there and for ones looking to get into shape, one particular location is doing something big to raise awareness for the cause. This is YG Studios, at their West 17th Street location.
On Thursday, October 13, YG Studios is partnering with Keep a Breast Foundation to host a Pink Party in support of breast cancer education and awareness. As fitness plays an important role in health and wellness, YG is using “sweat equity” as the means of raising money – the “ticket” to entry is purchase of a two-pack of YG classes, equivalent to $56. This model allows attendees to prioritize their own well-being while giving back to a greater cause.

The hip hop dance party event will feature music from DJ Tasha Blank, a silent auction and a raffle to raise additional funds for Keep a Breast Foundation.
Sounds like an awesome event! For more information, check out YG Studios’ official page.
