Delicious Low Calorie Beer Cocktails By Be Mixed

With the fall sports season in full effect, many Manhattanites are enjoying all different kinds of beers to celebrate their favorite team playing either Football, Baseball or more.  What if you are looking to keep the calories at a minimum while still enjoying the full taste of beer that you love?  Be Mixed, one of our favorite alcohol brands here at Manhattan Digest, has some wonderful low calorie beer cocktail options for you to choose from.

FANTASY DRAFT

You’ll Need:

  • 2 oz of Be Mixed Ginger Lime
  • ½ bottle of your favorite light beer
  • 1.5 oz of vodka
  • 1.5 oz of lemon juice
  • Pinch of chili powder
  • Lemon slice and chili pepper for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Add Be Mixed Ginger Lime, vodka, lemon juice, and chili powder to a cocktail shaker
  2. Add ice above the level of the liquid, cap, and shake for 5 seconds
  3. Strain into a tall glass containing cubes of ice
  4. Fill the glass with pilsner beer and garnish with lemon slices and dried chilies

ALL AMERICAN BEER-A-RITA

You’ll Need:

  • 4 oz Be Mixed Margarita
  • 1 bottle of your favorite light beer

Instructions:

  1. Chill beer and bottle of Be Mixed
  2. Combine beer and Be Mixed in a tall glass

THE HEISMAN

You’ll Need:

  • 2 oz of Be Mixed Ginger Lime
  • 1 muddled apricot
  • 6 oz of your favorite light beer

Instructions:

  1. Muddle apricot in a shaker
  2. Pour Be Mixed into the shaker
  3. Add ice and shake
  4. Pour into a tall glass over ice
  5. Add beer and stir gently
