Dos Toros is going to be doing something pretty special next week, as it celebrates the opening of its 13th location on March 7th with a kitchen element they have never used before! Located in Flatiron at 688 6th Avenue, the new spot will contain the brand’s first-ever test kitchen! Not only that, but they will also have another amazing incentive to bring all of this good news that will leave you feeling quite happy and satisfied!
The location’s guest experience and front-of-house will remain consistent with all other Dos Toros locations. The kitchen, however, will be equipped with innovative cooking technology to allow the brand to produce their high-quality food more efficiently and track valuable data (what items are selling most often, when, etc.)! Additionally, the team will be testing new menu items (veggie options and more) and recipes (only available at this location) for potential full-time inclusion on the menu!

To celebrate the opening, Dos Toros will host $1 burrito day! For every meal served that day, Dos Toros will be donating meals to the Food Bank of NYC.
I am a huge fan of Dos Toros, as they truthfully bring their San Francisco-California cuisine to NYC in the best way possible. I have been to San Fran and can definitely taste the similarities in the ingredients, which is what makes these locations continue to open and work so well! The test kitchen idea is fantastic and I hope it resonates with the swarm of new customers they will receive starting next week.
Here are some timeframes / more info surrounding their burrito offering on Tuesday: $1 burritos day (including quesadillas, salads, and platos) goes from 11:30-2:30pm & then again from 5-8pm. If you have time, stop on by!
