Super Bowl 54 is only days away! Millions of people will be tuning in for a variety of reasons that go beyond the big game. They will be glaring at their television screens during the big halftime show featuring Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, laughing their butts off while watching the commercials and so much more. So where are the best places in NYC to witness one of the biggest sports event of the year?
Take a look at these places that are going above and beyond to ensure that you have a fabulous experience on Sunday night.
Arthouse Hotel New York City: Upper West Side
Whether you’re a 49ers fan or rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs, there’s no better place to watch the Super Bowl than Arthouse Hotel New York City, located in the Upper West Side. The hotel will be showing the game in its cozy Library room via projector and will offer a craft cocktail for each team, including Niners Punch ($15), made with Arbiki Gin, Rockey’s Punch and cranberry cordial, and Chiefs Cold Brew ($16), a mixture of Ragtime Rye Whiskey, Mr. Black Cold Brew liquor, and orange bitters. Guests can also select a craft beer bucket ($42) featuring a selection of 6 craft beers and a Kickoff Sangria Spritz ($13), made with red wine, orange liquor, Prosecco and assorted fruits, and snack on a menu of Oath Pizzas and other light bites.
Pretty Ricky’s: Lower East Side
Pretty Ricky’s, the new LES bar just opened from the same team behind Mister Paradise. Located on the corner of Rivington and Ludlow (in the former Spitzer’s Corner space), Pretty Ricky’s will be screening the game on the big screen set up in their South Bar with plenty of comfortable seats for all, $5 beers from each of the teams’ home cities (time will tell what these are), as well as a $7 food menu. The dishes are twists on classic bar bites, like buttermilk chicken sliders, smoked wings, loaded fries, and nachos with chorizo and housemade queso.
If you are thinking of staying in as opposed to going out for your very own Super Bowl celebration then Auntie Anne’s Pretzels will definitely help you on Sunday. Auntie Anne’s has released the big game party MVP: the Game Day Pretzel Pack. With fresh-baked Pretzel Nuggets or Mini Pretzel Dogs, all the dips you could want, and most importantly – a free Snack Stadium holder to display the winning snack combo – they (almost) guarantee partygoers will be more excited about this than the commercials.
