Another fabulous spot has opened up for Manhattanites and tourists to enjoy. SUSH1, located in the heart of Chelsea, is exactly the kind of place you are looking for if sushi is on your brain. Here’s why.
Sushi is a delicacy that is devoured all throughout NYC. Its something that’s up there with burgers and pizza in terms of how often we eat it so the idea that another sushi place has opened in The Big Apple can only mean one thing: we have even more to stuff our faces with. Let’s rejoice.

I was very happy to find out about SUSH1 as I heard rave reviews from my friends after they began welcoming customers earlier this month (yay for restaurants opening again!).
Its situated on 6th Avenue, between 15th and 16th Street, which is perfect for a grab n go kind of situation as the Chelsea Highline and many other outdoor hotspots are close by, making it a yummy thing to eat as you enjoy the Indian summer we’ve been having as of late.

Something that impressed me with SUSH1 the minute I walked inside was the packaging that came with my meal. This is usually a non-factor when ordering food however theirs was amazing as the sushi items fit inside this bright pink package that was so much fun to look at!
And yes, the sushi was heavenly. I was very, very hungry, so the 18-piece box filled me up and then some (you also have the 12-piece, 24-piece and 4 hand rolls to choose from).

All the kinds of sushi we have enjoyed for years are on their menu from sashimi to tempura rolls to nigiri. Classics like California and Philadelphia Rolls to something a tad more decadent such as their Smoked Salmon Sashimi will give you a reason to keep coming back to this newly opened space that is sure to become a hit in the years to come.
