With all of the restaurants that I have reviewed for Manhattan Digest, 121 Fulton Street happens to be the first one where the name of the restaurant is synonymous with its actual address in New York City. The location, located in lower Manhattan right off the 2 and 3 trains, is 4,500 square feet of absolute bliss with four different key functionalities located insider for people to really enjoy.
Oh, and the food is freaking rad too.
From the outside of it, 121 Fulton Street doesn’t seem like it would be that large for one as many of the other places to eat around it are not that big. This location is quite large inside, and I love how it is decorated and finished with its beautiful wood furnishings. It is split between their Front Dining Room, which is designed for semi-private group dining, their Back Lounge, which is an ideal space for cocktail parties, their main Dining Room with private lighting, mic and a DJ set-up and their beautiful bar with five communal tables across it.

Obviously, it is not all private as you can go and enjoy some of the most delicious food I’ve had in a while with your friends and family. I recently stopped by there for lunch and was very pleased with what was served to me. Here are some key recommendations for when you go next. For a small appetizer to share with a friend I would try their Bacon Wrapped Dates. Dates and Bacon, it is a lethal combination for sure. In their salads area, if you want the best of greens and protein, I would recommend getting their Steak & Noodle Salad with Filet Mignon, Napa & Red Cabbage, Tomato, Mango, Avocado, Peanuts and Crispy Shallots with a Sweet Chili vinaigrette. Such a light and flavorful dish that packs a punch with the Sweet Chili and how well prepared the Filet actually is.

They have a great range of sliders, burgers and tacos available at your disposal, however for lunch I would stick to the sandwich options as those really stuck out to me. An amazing dish to try there is the Roasted Duck Club with BLT, Onion, Walnut Raisin Toast and a Maple Mayo. It is so damn good! The star of this isn’t exactly the duck but the Maple Mayo and the Walnut Raisin Toast as it really brings the dish together with a subtle sweetness that pairs well with the duck. Hands down try that out the next time you are there.
121 Fulton Street is also a great place to go to for your next big event. Whether it is a dinner buffet, family-style prix fix menu, different stations and more, they have you covered. It really is the best of so many worlds under one roof. I highly recommend you try them out the next time you are in lower Manhattan. Check out their official site for more information.
