Where to go for New Year’s Eve in New York City

New Year’s Eve is only 10 days away people!  Can’t believe how fast this month (and year) has gone.  If you are like me, you still haven’t figured out what you are doing for the celebration including where to go, where to stay, what to drink and eat, and so on and so forth.  Luckily, Manhattan Digest has come up with a great list of places for you to go to celebrate the New Year with friends, family and hopefully someone sexy before the ball drops.  Take a look at what we’ve come up with.

New Year’s Eve at Mr. Purple 

Doors open at 9pm– DJ and spectacular views of the fireworks over lower Manhattan. Champagne toast at midnight. Cash bar and food served all night.

General Admission: $50 – guaranteed admission, free champagne toast, cash bar

VIP Table Package #1: $750 – Table for up to 5 people. Table Package Includes: 2 bottles of Veuve Clicquot champagne and choice of 1 bottle of liquor. Sales tax & gratuity included.

VIP Table Package #2: $1,500 – Table for up to 10 people. Table Package Includes: 2 bottles of Veuve Clicquot champagne and choice of 2 bottles of liquor. Sales tax & gratuity included.

VIP Table Package #3: $3,000 – Table for up to 15 people. Table Package Includes: 3 bottles of Veuve Clicquot champagne and choice of 3 bottles of liquor. Sales tax & gratuity included.

New Year’s Eve Firework Show at The Roof

Doors open at 8pm – View Of Central Park Firework Show atMidnight,  DJ from 10pm – Close. Passed Appetizers from 9:30pm – 11pm, free champagne toast at midnight.

General Admission:$50 – guaranteed admission, passed appetizers, free champagne toast, cash bar

Table Packages: $125 Per Person. Includes Bottle Of Veuve Clicquot Champagne, Choice of Bottle of service, appetizers and dessert.  (for groups of 4 or more.  Tax and gratuity not included.)

Table Package Groups of 3-5: $150 – Includes a Bottle Of Veuve Clicquot Champagne, Choice of Liquor for bottle Service, appetizers and dessert for up to 5 ppl. Price is per person and must be paid in full online to reserve the table package. Tax and gratuity are included in fees.

NEW YEARS EVE AT QUEEN OF THE NIGHT 

​Date: December 31st​

Time: Doors open at 6:30 p.m, E​vening dinner show with open bar until 2:30am, 30am- 4am, After Party ​

Menu:All of your favorite, decadent Queen of the Night dishes including Roasted Leg of Lamb, Salmon Wellington and champagne to flow freely all night!

Ticket Price:$450.00 – The Gala Reservation grants you admission to the Diamond Horseshoe and all of the Queen’s New Year’s Eve festivities, including the full Queen of the Night show, passed canapés, sit-down dinner complete with decanters of wine and free-flowing drinks from our Mad Distillery Bar until 2:30 am.

Beauty & Essex’s Gatsby New Year’s Ball

Doors open at 10 pm– tickets include 5 hour open bar, food & champagne toast and an interactive experience compiled of geometric animations and an abstract video.

General admission– $250.00

The Stanton Social 

All reservations for 8:30 pm and earlier will be for regular ‘a la carte’ dining, a two hour seating.
Early dinner guests will be asked to join the Social Bar upstairs for the midnight celebration!

All reservations for 10pm and later will join the midnight celebration.  For this seating they will be offering a ‘family style dinner’ for the table for $125 per person not including beverages, tax or gratuity- a complimentary champagne toast at midnight will be included!

They’ll be serving their regular dinner menu as well as luxury specials with party favors and a DJ to add to the festive atmosphere.

SoCo (Clinton Hill)

This Southern Fused Cuisine which is a mix of cajun/creole, barbecue and soul food will be open from 5pm until 1am with a live swing/jazz band and have complimentary party favors for diners, as well as a Champagne toast at midnight.

Grand Central Oyster Bar- Brooklyn (Park Slope)

The icon Manhattan oyster bar’s Brooklyn outpost will have a full menu of specials and year-end treats on NYE for regular dinner service and a Champagne toast for diners on the late seating. For brunch on New Year’s Day, they’ll open at 11am and offer a special menu including options like Smoked Salmon Benedict and Maine Lobster Scramble.

Streets BK (Williamsburg)

Streets BK brings upscale street food from around the world with consulting chef and Bravo TV personality, Roble Ali, and Executive Chef Ron Stevinson at this rustic eatery and bar in Williamsburg’s bustling southside. On NYE, the chefs will have a special surf and turf menu option, along with the regular menu spanning the globe, specialty holiday cocktails and a Champagne toast.

Ocean Prime (Midtown)

The newest surf and turf restaurant from the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants empire arrived in Midtown this fall (the company’s 11th location) and is offering both regular menu and the following featured items for its first NYE:
Baked Nantucket Bay Scallops
(parmesan cream, buttered leeks, and toasted bread crumbs) – $26
Broiled Tilefish
(cauliflower puree, roasted broccoli, red peppers, fennel confit, and balsamic vinaigrette) – $44
24 oz. Prime Porterhouse Steak – $78
Warm Butter Cake
(fresh berries, vanilla ice cream and raspberry sauce) – $13
Cocktail feature: Pom Sparkler

The Saint Catherine (Prospect Heights)

The neighborhood bar from owners Bradford Nichols and Sara Williams hosts “B.Y.O.V.” (Bring Your Own Vinyl) night this NYE where patrons can toss their preferred musical stylings into the queue for the bartender to put on the turntable that evening. Narragansett is the night’s sponsor giving $2 Narragansett’s for anyone that plays a record, followed by a midnight Champagne toast as well. Emily (Clinton Hill)

The cozy pizzeria run by husband & wife team, Matt & Emily Hyland, will be open for regular dinner service (walk-in only) on 12/31 with some special Champagne options for the evening. For New Year’s Day, they’ll open at 12pm and will have unlimited Emmy Burgers thru dinner service (just like Sundays).
