A Delicious Cocktail Recipe to Enjoy Leap Day with from Hornitos

by Ryan Shea

Leap Day is only four days away on February 29th, that illusive once every four years day that we can find some weird way to celebrate with.  One way that I like to celebrate most of the time is with a delicious cocktail, and a brand that I have used several times before to make these is Hornitos, which boasts some of the best tequila in the world.  Hornitos has a tradition of making themed cocktails in the past, even doing one for The New York Rangers during the Eastern Conference Finals last year, and now they have a special recipe for Leap Day this year.

The drink at hand is the Cocktail No. 366 and it reads as follows in order to make it-

1 1/2 Parts Hornitos Black Barrel Tequila

2 Parts Seltzer

1 Part Campari Liquor

1/4 Part Sweet Vermouth

Dash of Orange Bitters

Orange Peel

Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir. Pour ingredients from mixing glass into a Collins glass with ice. Garnish with an orange peel.

For more information on Hornitos, check out their official site.
