There is nothing more I love than when something truly great is celebrated. One legendary city that deserves that over and over again is the reason for this publication- New York City. So why not celebrate that at a fantastic location with some fabulous music and so much more? Well, The W New York, located on Lexington Avenue between 50th and 51st Street, is starting a brand new monthly series that celebrates the style, sound and heart of NYC called “Midtown Love”.
The event is launching next Thursday, March 24th, with singer/songwriter Halley Hiatt premiering her debut EP to the Manhattan public. Halley’s sounds can be described as a unique hybrid of R&B and Electro Pop. Sounds like a good combo indeed. Here is a bit more from this fresh faced singer in the music world.

Halley Hiatt is a Singer Songwriter of Lebanese, French, and Native American decent that hails from Upstate NY but now resides in Bushwick, BK. Her sound is a unique hybrid that can best be described as a mix of R&B and Electro Pop (click here for her stirring rendition of Erykah Badu’s On & On. Her brand new track, “Other Matters” was produced by Rodney Hazard and MP Williams (A$AP Rocky). It’s a reflective, thought-provoking song riddled with metaphors on life and the things we allow to the world to make us believe when we are momentarily lost.

Sounds like it is going to be a super fun night. For all the information about the event, see below.
