About Chloé: Chloé was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, an Egyptian-born Parisienne; a dark beauty with a bohemian spirit. Rejecting the stiff formality of the 1950’s haute couture, she created soft, alluring clothes from fine fabrics. Creative directors have ranged from Karl Lagerfeld, Phoebe Philo, and Hannah Mcgibbon; then in 2011 Chloé’s current creative director, Clare Waight Keller took reign. Clare brings modernity to the classic grace and effortlessness of the brand, carrying Gaby Aghion’s values of free-spiritedness and femininity into current collections.
