As someone who likes to eat as many meals of the day as possible, it is always good when a great restaurant expands its presence because it is just that awesome. One in particular is Chris Santos’ (Chopped) amazing restaurant called Vandal, is now doing brunch and lunch for all of Manhattan to enjoy wholeheartedly!

After an uber-successful January opening, the restaurant is now offering its multi-ethnic small plates menu, as well as a variety of to-die-for sandwiches during lunch hours (weekdays from 11:30am – 3:30pm). Think footlong New York hot dogs from the Meat Hook, with bacon jam and cheese sauce, an open-faced pan con tomate sandwich with burrata and jamon iberico, and more.

Vandal also just debuted a brand new weekend brunch. They’re ditching the old brunch tropes and offering exciting, globally inspired options like Asian Style Sweet Pancakes (bacon / scallions / miso butter), a Corned Beef Reuben Benedict (thousand island hollandaise), and the ultimate Japan/New Jersey mashup: the okonomiyaki-style taylor ham, egg and cheese “omelette.”
How scrumptious is that? I mean, look at the photos for the love of god! I’m starving again and I just ate, but that’s not really a shocker. For more information on Vandal, check out their official site.
