Just because you get to an adult place in life, doesn’t mean that your imagination should be limited to only adult type things. When we were kids, in and out of Manhattan, coloring books were all the rage and really helped us define what how creative we were, if we drew in or outside the lines, and gave us a good understanding of what our favorite colors are that can help with our styling today. Well, Fab.com, our favorite shopping site, has now developed an amazing “adult” coloring book called “Color By Fab”, and it really is just that- fab.

Color By Fab, available for purchase now, is a 64 page compilation of mind-blowing black and white drawings by 30 of Fab’s favorite emerging artists—an interactive work of art you help complete every time you pick up a colored pencil.

The compilation features artist from our homebase of New York City, but also has other amazing designs done from artists across the world, from London, Mexico, Romania, and Madrid just to name a few. I received my copy a couple of days ago, and have been stunned by the artistry that each person puts forward, and it also includes a story about them and their piece of work included. Rawaan Alkhatib, who is based right herein Brooklyn (pictured above) was raised in Dubai and immerses herself in bright and bold prints that she puts on everything from silks to children’s tents. She, just like many of the other artists, want you to use as many colors on the page to really see what your style is when you engulf yourself in each drawing.

I love the individuality of the designs, that includes everything from Broken Hearts, birds, objects inside someone’s house, and so much more. If you ever want to have a quiet day in Central Park or Madison Square Park and draw in between the lines of these up and coming artists, I would definitely recommend buying this book and seeing where your artistry brings you.
