For years, The Hamptons has been an oasis for Manhattanites during the hot summer months. The natural beauty of the beaches and along with the draw of the fantastic social life, it has everything a sweaty, work weary New Yorker needs.
Over the July 4th weekend, I took a long, slow boat ride through meandering water ways and gaping bays from Remsenberg Marina to the mouth of the Shinnecock Canal. Along the way I got to capture life on the water in The Hamptons and it was just the respite that I needed.
