A Walk Across The Brooklyn Bridge- Photo Journal

by Mark Giarrusso

Timeless View

If you are a New Yorker, you are obligated to walk The Brooklyn Bridge.  Yes, it could be touristy just for the fact alone that the pedestrian walkway is ALWAYS mobbed with people from all over the world, every nice day from April until October.   It’s like going to the top of the Empire State Building or now the Freedom Tower.  If the Queensboro Bridge  has the market on quirkiness then the Brooklyn Bridge could be considered a wizened old man who has seen New York grow to be the capital of the world.  It IS touristy on the surface but dig a little deeper and it’s pure New York.

Why View is Worth The Trip Out East to Long Island

by Ryan Shea

As someone who splits their time between Long Island and Manhattan, I am always looking for what is the best of the best when it comes to the amazing culture that both parts of New York have to offer.  I found a hidden gem located out east in Long Island in Oakdale called View, and was glad that I did.  This seafood-based restaurant boasts a lot more than your average shrimp cocktail, and is a multi-purpose location that you can have an intimate night with your friends, or even marry the love of your life at.  Here’s how.

One on One With Producer & Artist Donnie Klang

by Ryan Shea

Making it in any industry is super tough, especially the music industry where you are hot one second and gone the next.  Add reality into that of some sorts, and the pressure on you is even higher than you would expect.  However, there are a select few that find what works for them inside the industry, thrive on it, and continue to make themselves relevant and fantastic in what they do throughout it all.  A good example of that is producer Donnie Klang, who is one half of the producing team at The Loft Sound Studio, located right outside New York City in Long Island.
