With the July 4th season coming and going, we can now officially say that summer is truly here! When it comes to the warmer weather, there is nothing better than to kick back in the shade or the A/C with a tasty drink to cool yourself down from all the heat and humidity we’ve been having lately. Well, one of our favorite new hot spots in the Upper East Side, Treadwell Park, has come up with some delicious new Summer Beer Floats to try and delectify the next time you are in the area!
The new summer beet float menu offers a wide selection of drinks, created by Anne Becerra, who was the first woman in NYC to become a CertifiedCicerone®. She was named ³Heroes of the Craft Beer Movement² by Vanberg and DeWulf imports and has helped to organize major beer festivals around the world.
The menu includes the Caribbean Coconut Gelato with Avery Lilikoi Kepolo (passionfruit witbier) garnished with a slice of pineapple or fresh mint, the Madagascar Vanilla Gelato with Ayinger Brau Weisse (hefeweizen) garnished with a cherry, the Sicilian Lemone Sorbetto with Radeberger Pislner garnished with lime zest, and the Pacific Northwest Raspberry Sorbet with Firestone Walker Easy Jack (IPA) garnished with an orange peel.
Sounds amazing to me! Don’t just take my word for it. Go to Treadwell Park and see what all the fuss is about! For more information, check out their official site.
