Everyone get your bell bottoms, platform shoes and silk shirts ready cause VNYL, a new 70s’ themed lounge has made its way to the East Village. Adrian Grenier of Entourage plays the role of music director at VNYL, with entrepreneur James Morrissey banded together with him as owner to open up this four level lounge which screams 70’s mod.
With the grand opening taking place this past weekend during Fashion Week, the trendiest of New York were in attendance to commemorate the evening.

The overall space was decorated by Sarah Abdallah from Functional Creative Design. The Lion’s Den, located in the basement, is the house’s tasting lounge featuring craft beers, TV’s and of course tufted leather couches. The main floor is the haven to VNYL Coffee Co., a chic boutique vinyl shop and the extensive primary bar.
The mezzanine, one flight up overlooks the main bar, is the ideal place for bottle service accompanied by table-side mixology. The top and ultimate floor splits into two parts highlighting the Champagne Garden and The Black Rose Room another full bar.

There is a Instagram/ Snapchat picture worthy hammock in the Champagne Garden that sits next to a window mounted above the busy streets of 3rd avenue. And would this place be complete without blue neon lights displaying Hozier’s “Take Me To Church” line that illuminates the staircase.
Needless to say we can foreshadow this venue being a hot spot this fall/winter season! For more information, check out their official site.
