Coffee lovers rejoice (and jolt up), because this coming Thursday marks National Coffee Day! Even though many of us enjoy coffee daily (sometimes multiple times daily), September 29th marks the one true day where we celebrate the variety of coffees that are out there, the places that you can buy it from, and so much more to keep us deliciously caffeinated all throughout the day. Several locations in Manhattan are taking advantage of this day with free coffees, discounted coffees, tasty coffees, and more! I can feel the caffeine going through my system just writing this!

To kick start the morning, Trademark Grind (38 West 36th Street) is treating New Yorkers to $1 COFFEE all day! Guests can enjoy their choice of expertly brewed Sweetleaf Coffee Roasters hot Classic Drip or Iced Coffee alongside FREE samples of Trademark’s signature Double Chocolate Chip Cookies. Deals kick off as soon as doors open at 7am. The VNYL Vintage New York Lifestyle (100 Third Avenue) is giving away FREE COFFEE to the first 100 customers at their ground level The VNYL Coffee Co. brewed with Intelligentsia Coffee Roasters. Show up when the doors open at 7am, follow their Instagram page, and you’ll be rewarded with free caffeine. It’s that simple!

For an extra jolt of caffeine (with a boozy kick!), we’ve found some delicious coffee cocktail specials. Start the afternoon celebration with a Latte Latte Irish Iced Coffee ($13) from The Late Late (159 East Houston Street). This decadent cocktail created by Seth Allen is part of their brand new brunch menu and brimming with caffeine, Irish Whiskey and homemade whipped cream. At Sweetwater Social (643 Broadway), Justin Noel created an Iced Coffee Cocktail ($15) that is the perfect blend of almond extract, demerara, condensed milk, cold brew coffee, Hirschcuss Amaro, Jameson Black Barrel and crushed ice. Trademark Grind (38 West 36th Street) is continuing their day of $1 coffee into the afternoon with signature Booze Coffee Slushies ($8) and Virgin Coffee Slushies ($6) from 4-5pm.
Be sure to celebrate National Coffee Day all day long at any of these places. Happy celebrating everyone!
