NOMAD
Squares | 360 Park Ave S.| SquaresNY.com
Designed by the renowned interiors and architecture studio Reunion Goods & Services, the nightclub cheekily plays off of the concept of “squares” through a pixelated facsimile of a historic hall, complete with quirky Japanese glazed tile mosaic-inspired designs (over 25,000 tiles in the nightclub) in warm monochromes and decor details like marble busts and stag heads rendered with Atari’s 8-bit graphics. Antique wood, stitched leather, and smoky mirrored panels along with a fireplace-turned-DJ booth and stage, further allude to the classic New York society club theme. New York bar veteran Bryan Schneider debuts a stylish and easy drinking menu that riffs on classic members’ club cocktails and includes references to the London society scene of the 1980s and historic British culture. Reimagined for a nightclub setting, Squares’ cocktail program features signature drinks like the Lego Club Mule (vodka, cucumber, lime, chili, house ginger beer), the French 750, a large format French 75 (gin, lemon, champagne) topped with an entire 750ml bottle of Veuve Clicquot, as well as a housemade energy drink served on tap with any spirit of choice, made with a blend of herbs, spices and caffeine. Reinventing classic champagne bottle service, Squares will also offer Veuve on Veuve: chilled bottles of Veuve Clicquot accompanied with Veuve Clicquot ice cubes, a choice of bitters and long peels of fresh citrus.
The nightclub can be rented out fully or divided in half for private events:
