Feastive Provides Dinner Party Deliveries to Your Door

by Ryan Shea

Feastive is taking delivery service to a whole other level this holiday season, as they are going beyond the traditional one meal option and turning it into a party extravaganza!  Billed as the “dinner party to your door”, Feastive plans to be your one stop shop for all things tasty and delicious for the myriad of holiday parties you plan to host or go to over the next month and beyond.

Former food writer Debbie Soo has launched Feastive, an innovative new recipe delivery service focused on dinner parties. While other food tech pioneers such as Blue Apron and Plated have solved the weeknight dinner conundrum, Feastive is set apart by the type of meal it provides – with an emphasis on experiential, often exotic fare, Feastive serves parties of four or more to deliver unique, group-centric dining experiences.

Feastive takes the stress out of hosting by planning, shopping and prepping meals that have been created with sharing in mind. Patrons simply select their preferred meal from the Feastive website, and a box containing all of the required raw ingredients and recipe cards will be delivered to their doorstep. Having saved the final steps for last, Feastive still gives the host ownership over the cooking process and even gets the guests involved – a  a change compared to having the meal privately catered or ordered in.

Debbie has this to say about her booming business-

“As a food writer, I was exposed to incredible dining experiences and was lucky enough to meet absolute legends in the industry. I danced with Alain Passard, cheers’ed Daniel Humm and conversed with Ferran Adrià during their visits to Hong Kong. Multiple times a week I would find myself sitting down to long, indulgent meals crafted by masters in their respective cuisine. Though I fully appreciated these amazing dining opportunities, I found that often (usually after one too many rich degustations) it was the intimate and comforting meals at the homes of friends and family that I craved and coveted.”
“With Feastive, I hope to bring together the sense of discovery associated with dining out with the unique feeling of belonging that comes with being invited into somebody’s home. By demystifying international cuisines and providing all of the menu curation and ingredient preparation, our boxes are the perfect solution for novice cooks or the time-pressed looking to have guests over for an easy, fun and delicious night of feasting.”
