At what age did you discover you wanted to get into music?
At a very young age I started loving music when my grandma used to play her old Italian records in her car but discovering I really wanted to get into music came after, at the age of 10/11.
What artists or people inspired you to want to making singing a career?
Most of all Freddie Mercury. I started thinking about a career collecting every possible Queen item, from vinyl records to DVDs, and trying to sing their songs. I really mean trying. *laughs*
How would you describe your music to our readers?
It’s basically pop music, you can dance to it, laugh to it, even cry to it. Some songs have definitely a dance taste.
What do you find to be the biggest difference between the Italian music scene and ours here in the United States?
Well, I guess the importance of the productions. In Italy they’re quite of a lower level, American ones are the worldwide role model for the top songwriters.
Do you have a favorite moment in your career so far?
I don’t have an actual favorite moment besides everything referred to music I did in New York, Los Angeles and Miami. Those are really great experiences.
Tell us about your new single “I Betcha”, what was the inspiration in doing this song?
“I Betcha” is the story of a lost love. The guy in the song says basically that she’s going to be missing him. Me and C-Rod writing it tried to insert some personal experiences, that’s what makes it special.
Do you plan on releasing an album as well?
Who knows.. I’ll probably keep on releasing some new singles, a Remix maybe..
What are you hopeful for in 2017 and beyond?
I hope I’ll get more people to listen to my music, that’s a never ending desire for any artist I guess. Happiness is the most important thing at the end of the day.
