Greenwich Steakhouse is easily going to become a neighbor you are all going to want to visit in The West Village. The brand spanking new location, right off the 123 line on Greenwich Avenue has opened up shop today for the masses to enjoy. Last night, they were nice enough to give us a fantastic media dinner where we got to preview its amazing ambiance, decor and of course… delicious food.

There is a little something for everyone at Greenwich Steakhouse, depending on the kind of mood you are in. The first floor is a gorgeous bar, designed for the after hours crowd, who are looking for a delicious cocktail or two to enjoy. The Cherry Lane (oloroso sherry, lemon, crème de griotte, orange & peach bitters, sparkling rose, cherries, up) and Likes To Bite (pineapple, mint, lemon, sugar, cayenne, up) are two of my favorite cocktails, by the way. The second floor is more of a general restaurant experience as you can see from the photo above, and the third floor (which I got a sneak peak off as the bathroom is located up there), seems to have a much more intimate setting designed for a dinner for two.

What I particularly love about Greenwich Steakhouse is that it has a breezy and light setting that engulfs it. Most steakhouses are darker colors, which can lead to a very mute type of atmosphere, but with the gorgeous colors adorning the walls, it brings a much more different environment for you to experience.

The food reads as some of the best of the best when it comes to quality Steakhouse food. They served us some absolutely phenomenal surf n turf options, from Chilled Lobster to Shrimp Cocktail, Filet Mignon to New York Sirloin, and delicious sides like Grilled Asparagus, Roasted Mushrooms and a Baked Potato, just to name a few. Overall, Greenwich Steakhouse is definitely looking to be the star of the show in the West Village, and you should start making your reservations ASAP to experience it yourself.
