In Manhattan, we can get pretty spoiled in terms of the types of cuisines that are out there. We truly have everything! However, there are times where you want to bring those culinary inspirations home, but don’t know how to even begin in the process. Luckily, there is a service out there right now that can do this for you on a monthly basis. Let me introduce you to Try The World!

Here is a little more about this fabulous service and how it began. Try The World was founded in 2013 by Kat Vorotova, a New York foodie born in Russia, and David Foult, a French globetrotter. They met in New York while studying at Columbia University and the company grew naturally out of their passion for traveling and discovering great food and new cultures.

Try The World aims to capture the essence of the greatest countries in the world through food. Try The World has imported over 5 million products from over 30 countries to customers in the US and Canada.

You can order what you would like in three different capacities: Country Boxes (for those who want to immerse themselves in a new culture), Healthy Snack Box (perfect for those on the go) and Pantry (meant to revolutionize the way you food shop for pantry items using advanced technology and customization).

I was able to try one of their snack boxes as well as a country box this past week, and was amazed by so much! The packaging is quite impressive, as well as the variety of each that you are able to try. The snacks themselves are healthy but don’t have that “healthy” type taste, if you know what I mean. For their country box, they sent me straight out of Harlem into India with a beautiful display of different products to cook for myself (I love Basmati rice, so naturally I was excited!)

Try The World is truthfully a fantastic concept that any Manhattanite should try. Whether its to improve your cooking skills, learn about ingredients from a country that you desire, or more, they have you covered. This is definitely something that I would recommend!
