I never thought I would see a day where a major basketball team and delicious donuts would find some sort of an epic pairing, but it can actually happen!  Case in point: this past Friday, the world famous Harlem Globetrotters paired up with Entenmann’s for National Donut Day, where they performed in the heart of Times Square and gave thousands of donuts away for the celebration!

“Being able to celebrate donuts with our fans in the heart of New York City, where Entenmann’s® got its start 119 years ago, is truly amazing,” said Lorraine Hale, Senior Director of Marketing for Entenmann’s® Bakery, part of Bimbo Bakeries USA. “This National Donut Day celebration is a tradition we look forward to continuing for years to come.”

The event took place Friday morning, where the Globetrotters did some “Donut Trick Shots” that impressed their multitude of fans, old and new, in the most visited area of the world.  I chatted with them the day before the event to discuss the excitement surrounding it and working with Entenmann’s.
