There is nothing wrong, especially on the weekends, with enjoying your scrambled eggs while scantily clad women dance in front of you for your pleasure. No, I am not talking about a strip club here, I’m talking about Doux Supperclub and their fantastic balance of mouthwatering cuisine mixed with live entertainment that will delight both your palate and senses all at the same time. Here’s why the Flatiron District hotspot should be your next weekend venture.
Doux Supperclub brings the mystery and exclusivity of a Parisian speakeasy to the heart of NYC. Behind the doors of Doux you’ll experience 1920’s Paris through innovative decor, craft cocktails and a unique blend of delectable desserts and dark, seductive performances. Guests are invited to come in to experience after work drinks that will lead to late night revelry.

This past Sunday, Doux put on an absolutely fantastic burlesque show in their cozy second floor location. It started around 3:00 PM, which was the perfect time to get all the toxins out of your body and start to enjoy the afternoon ahead from the late night you had before.

They served us with some scintillating cocktails such as a Summer in St. Germain made with Champagne, Elderflower Liqueur and Strawberry Puree while we munched on some warm pastries with a side of honey and Nutella. Yum. This was then followed by a scrumptious salad and then a Petite Croque Madame (smoked ham, gruyere, quail egg), that left us quite full given the amount of food we were provided with.

The burlesque part was quite fascinating, as the lights dimmed, the curtains closed, and the gorgeous dancers performed to a bunch of modern songs with a style of dance that was popular way back in the 1920’s. It was beyond entertaining and paired well with the food and drink we were having as well as the decor. When the girls weren’t dancing, they had a fantastic DJ that kept our heart rates up with the latest in top 40 and beyond.

Overall, if you are looking for something different compared to your boring “brunch” norm, then Doux Supperclub will definitely do the trick.
