When it comes to choosing a hotel to stay at while in Manhattan, you truly have your pick of the litter. Instead of staying at a conglomerate type hotel, which really only boasts familiarity and not much else, why not stay at something much more localized where you will truly get a much better experience while in The Big Apple?
We have found three fantastic hotels to stay at while you are here, that boast a ton of great amenities and will leave you feeling rested, relaxed and above all happy that you stayed. Take a look at our fab list.

WestHouse Hotel: 201 W. 55th Street
This massively stunning location sits only blocks away from some of the most iconic spots in Manhattan, including Times Square and Carnegie Hall. Outside of location, location, location, WestHouse provides a luxurious experience at a very decent price that won’t break your bank or cause you to minimize your trip due to how expensive some hotel stays can be.
They offer some wonderful amenities, including The Terrace on the 23rd floor, where residents can dine in a delicious breakfast spread as well as stop by there for refreshments throughout the day and a dinner service between 5 and 7PM. The floor, as well as most of the rooms you will stay in, provides an Instagram-worthy view of the city, making your stay that much more fantastic. For more information, click here.

The Library Hotel: 299 Madison Avenue
If you are more of an east side guy or girl, then The Library Hotel will definitely suit you. Once again, location becomes a major factor as they are located only two blocks outside the legendary Grand Central, making your commuting experience that much easier for yourself.
Now that we have that out of the way, here are the other reasons why you should stay at The Library Hotel as it is truly like no other. They take the concept of the word “library” and splash it on each floor of the beautiful hotel. They take the Dewey Decimal System and honor them on each floor of the hotel (10 in all), and correspond the room to fit accordingly with the topic at hand. This is one of the few times where you can truly say that a hotel can provide an educational stay. For more information, click here.

Hotel Elysee: 60 E. 54th Street
Finally, if you enjoy shopping on Park Avenue, then Hotel Elysee is perfect in terms of location as it is a short distance from all the amazing stores you can shop til you drop in.
Not only that, but you get a classic vibe when you walk in as Hotel Elysee provides old work New York in a modern setting. The look and feel of the lobby alone will give you Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin type vibes, as it has a throwback element to it that works wonderfully in the modern world. Not to mention their incredible breakfast buffet every morning and wine and cheese hour at night. What’s not to love?
And now is a great time to stay at Hotel Elysee, as they have a fabulous Museum of Modern Art package that is worth the look! If you book a stay for four nights or more, you will receive 2 complimentary tickets to MoMA, which is just around the corner! How amazing is that. For more information, click here.
