Score! What are the Best Places to Watch the Super Bowl in NYC?

Thinking about heading out on Sunday night to watch Super Bowl 52? Whether you root for The New England Patriots or the Philadelphia Eagles, chances are that you want to be in a great environment surrounded by delicious food and drinks… and maybe something extra.  Luckily, we’ve got you covered!

Here are some fantastic spots in Manhattan to enjoy the big game at.

Mastro’s Steakhouse

While sitting at the bar and watching the game, spoil yourself with a larger than life seafood tower, a perfect seasoned steak, fried calamari, and many more. (Pro Tip: the Lobster Mashed Potatoes are definitely a crowd favorite). To top it off, Mastro’s has an extensive cocktail menu that will help any fan during any nail biting moments.

Moxy Times Square

Moxy Times Square will be screening the Super Bowl in both Legasea and Bar Moxy. Both venues will have large screen tvs as well as a live DJ. Bar Moxy will be serving a Game Day menu with a 5 foot hero sandwich that must be pre-ordered 24 hours in advance. Serious business!! Be sure to look out for their staff who will be decked out in uniforms in support of their favorite team!

SLATE NY

Head to Slate (54 W. 21st Street) on Super Bowl Sunday. General Admission tickets are $10 and include a vodka open bar from 5pm to 6pm to get the party started before kickoff even begins. Guests can take in the big game from one of the 40 flat screens and two 20-foot ultra HD media walls and there will be a live DJ to play during commercial breaks. Slate offers sprawling lounge space decked out in luxe leather seating and VIP packages available to accommodate groups of 4 to 10 for an added price. Purchase your tickets here.

The VNYL

Downtown’s hottest multi-level bar The VNYL will be screening the big game, projected on their massive 36 ft. screen with surround sound. Enjoy beer and shot specials, accompanied by everyone’s favorite football foods including $12 wings and nachos, and $6 housemade potato chips.

Beauty & Essex and VANDAL

Hop on over to Beauty & Essex and VANDAL on February 4th for the Big Game viewing party! Watch in style on one of the numerous big screens set up throughout the restaurants. There will be a special game day menu, along with raffles, prizes, giveaway’s and more! The traditional á la carte menu will be available as well. Sapphire New York

Come ready for twice the entertainment you would find at any other Super Bowl viewing party at Sapphire​ New York ​, NYC’s favorite gentlemen’s club. $40 admission includes open bar from 6pm-10pm, an amazing tailgate buffet to curb all those game-day cravings plus giveaways all game long! Irvington

You’re ready for the big game and so is Irvington – catch this year’s Super Bowl on their huge projection screen. Located at the W Union Square, Irvington is offering  $15 themed cocktails like the Thyme to Fly with homemade thyme honey syrup and Eagle Rare and Tom Brady Collins with blue curaçao, vodka and maple syrup. Hungry? Sriracha honey wings ($14), short rib nachos ($19) and meatball sliders ($14) are available too.

Mr. Purple

“Cabin in the Sky” pop-up will allow you to watch the game among sweeping views of Manhattan. Take in the purple deer heads and digital fireplaces while catching the biggest game of the  year on Mr. Purple’s large projection screen.

The Roof

Watch Super Bowl LII in style at The Roof at Viceroy Central Park, the most lavish rooftop bar in the city. Located in the heart of Midtown, The Roof overlooks Central Park allowing patrons stunning views while taking in the game at the same time.

Bounce Sporting Club

Bounce is the upscale sports bar in Flatiron famous for its Sunday Funday party. Depending on the day it can be a day-to-night club, restaurant, casual bar playing all games, and for Super Bowl will definitely be one of the best parties. The brand just opened its second location in Chicago last month, and has a third opening announcing soon!  Some of the delicious items include Cap’n Crunch Crusted Chicken Nuggets, Pretzel Hot Dogs, Double Stuffed Grilled Cheese, Spicy Koreatown Wings, the Hail Mary, and so much more!

Libation

At Libation (137 Ludlow Street), early bird gets the booze! Tickets to this Super Bowl viewing party are just $10. Guests who arrive before halftime will get to enjoy unlimited draft beer during halftime (or until the keg kicks). Doors open at 5:30pm with plenty of time to get settled before kickoff at 6:30pm. Guests can enjoy food specials, including 50 cent wings, until the end of the game. Catch the game and, possibly more importantly, the halftime show on 25 big screens with sound. Boulton & Watt

For a VIP Super Bowl experience, reserve the one and only booth at Boulton & Watt (5 Avenue A). The game will be shown on 7 TV’s throughout the bar, but the VIP booth comes with its own private screen and two in-table beer taps! All drafts will be $7, a selection of homemade pickle back shots will be available for $9, and game day snack specials, including nachos and wings, will be available a la carte. Doors open at 10am and reservations can be made by calling (646)490-6004.
