Are your taste buds craving nothing but a good pile of some delicious barbecue? Are you from an area that serves some of the best barbecue around, but you haven’t been able to find it in The Big Apple? Well fear not, because we have you covered (in sauce). Here are three delicious barbecue spots you should hit up with your bib and a smile ready.

Virgil’s Real Barbecue: Times Square
Located in the most visited area in the entire world, Virgil’s Real Barbecue exemplifies the word “real” in so many of their delicious BBQ-inspired dishes. Many items, such as their Pulled Pork or Texas BBQ Beef Brisket with a side of Coleslaw and Mac and Cheese will really do the trick and satisfy your BBQ cravings to the best of their abilities. More information here.

Hill Country Chicken: Flatiron
With celebrity fans like Serena and Venus Williams, Hill Country Chicken is the first of its kind in Manhattan to bring authentic southern hospitality to our island of fun, and we can’t get enough of it. Fried is the key word here when it comes to all good things barbecue, so we definitely recommend their Classic Fried Chicken, Fried or Boneless Tenders or their Kickin Chicken Sandwich with chipotle mayo and kale coleslaw. Yum! More information here.

Brother Jimmy’s BBQ- Multiple Locations
Brother Jimmy’s has spots located all over Manhattan, the most known one being right outside Madison Square Garden on 8th Avenue. These guys pull no punches when it comes to the pungent and absolutely scrumptious barbecue items that they serve. Some that we recommend include their Carolina Pulled Pork which is slow smoked & pulled with Brother Jimmy’s original BBQ sauce as well as their Hush Puppies with warm maple butter and Hot Buffalo Wings as some starter dishes. Absolutely heavenly. More information here.
