Grand Central is easily one of the most visited parts of New York City. This hustling and bustling area is constantly swarmed with tons of people who want to take in all the beauty and architecture that surrounds it. So why not stay at a place located right in the middle of all the action? The Grand Hyatt New York, located on E. 42nd Street between Park and Lexington Avenue, should be that one place you check into for all the action in this fun part of town.
Grand Hyatt New York is classic Manhattan done in a modern setting. With NYC constantly evolving and changing to fit the current trends in society, its nice to see that this hotel still has a flashback sort of vibe to it, especially given the fact that its located by some of the most iconic locations in the city including the Chrysler Building.

There’s a lot to look at even before you check in. For one, the lobby is more of a labyrinth in terms of just how big and spacious it is. It makes for a great resting spot for you in case your friends and family are still getting ready in their respective rooms. They also have a fantastic 24-7 snack shop located right next to the check in counter. This saves you the agony of having to go outside to get your grub on as all of those amenities are located steps away from your room.
The rooms that you will stay in only enhance the view of New York City in all of its glory. The one that I checked into recently was beyond perfect: comfortable bedding, a big ole couch to plop onto while watching what’s on television, air conditioning to beat this gross heat we’ve been experiencing, and more. Sort of makes you not want to leave as there’s so much goodness wrapped inside one giant place.

Their hotel is also currently home to New York City’s only New York Botanical Garden pop-up in their Lobby! Here, guests can experience a preview of NYBG’s current exhibit, Georgia O’Keefe: Visions of Hawaii, learn about her journey to the islands which started at Grand Central, enter to win multiple prizes including the grand prize of 4 nights at a Hyatt Hawaiian Resort, and receive Hawaiian-themed drink offers from their award-winning restaurant, New York Central. The pop-up is staged to replicate the look and feel of Hawaii and to serve somewhat as an interactive gallery and educational theater, all-in-one. Link to the package and exhibit details on our website can be found here.
They also just launched a super fun “picnic in the park” addition from their Market that highlights their location’s close proximity to Bryant Park and Central. Branded picnic blankets are also available to complete the experience. Fun!

Overall, the Grand Hyatt New York offers so much in one space that it is sort of hard not to say no to. Don’t just take our word for it though.
