This over-the-top space has two locations for the everyday Manhattanite to experience: one in Union Square and the other in the Upper East Side. I’ve been to both, with the former being my first visit over the summer where I left with a major sweet tooth and a euphoric feeling that I’m still buzzing from all these months later.
The Union Square location has a much different vibe compared to its original on 3rd avenue in the UES. This place was packed to the brim right after the Christmas holiday was over with, which wasn’t a shock given how popular Dylan’s Candy Bar is.
It boils down to this from my point of view: Dylan’s is a place where you leave your worries behind as it brings you into a world where anything is possible from a candy perspective. Whether its the classics that you can’t find anywhere else, all the loose candy you can throw into one bag or an assortment of products that will surely delight any loved one as a gift, rest assured that Dylan’s has you covered.
