Burgers are delicious. Wine is tasty. Put them both together and it becomes culinary magic. Del Frisco’s Grille, one of the most sophisticated foodie spots in Manhattan, is doing their own interpretation with this concept by introducing a brand new Burgers and Bordeaux Wine Pairing Menu, just in time for the summer months.
Each of the three wines that Del Frisco’s prepares is paired with its burger counterpart to serve as the perfect complement, enhancing the flavors of each dish more than what guests would otherwise experience.
The three pairings include:
The Blanc comprised of a turkey burger, pear mostarda, brie, roasted garlic aioli and arugula on a toasted brioche bun
Wine: Chateau Peyrat, Graves Blanc (White Region)
The Château comprised of 6-oz. house-ground filet mignon, goat cheese, tomato jam, caramelized onions and roasted garlic aioli spring mix on a toasted brioche bun
Wine: Chateau Tour Bayard, Montagne-Saint Émilion (Right Bank)
The Légende comprised of 6-oz. house-ground filet mignon, wild mushrooms, raclette, black garlic aioli, truffle vinaigrette and arugula on a toasted Kaiser roll
Wine: Légende by Domaines Baron de Rothschild, Médoc (Left Bank)
Guests have the option to order the new burger and wine offerings available a la carte or as they come specially paired and priced, during both lunch and dinner hours.
If you are looking to add onto your B&B experience, then I recommend trying the Cheesesteak Eggrolls and Ahi Tacos in the “Made to Share” portion of the menu. Both are tremendously delicious and worth the try the next time you find yourself at this wonderful establishment.
