The summer is still in full swing and with that comes quite a bit of travel that will take place over the next month. Long Island, an area I grew up in and love so much, is a place where Manhattanites will be heading to for some fun in the sun at their several beaches and scenic areas. Tropical Smoothie Cafe, a place that I will simply call heavenly for now, has locations all across LI that will provide you and your friends with an experience that goes beyond the word satisfying.
I have been a fan of Tropical Smoothie Cafe for over a decade. There used to be one that was close to my old home in East Northport that me and my family and friends would go to year-round for their tasty food and absolutely scrumptious smoothie options.
Their delivery and execution in both food and drink has not wavered in the years since. Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a great place to go to if you want to cool down on a horrifically hot summer’s day with their variety of beverages that are huge in size and amazing in taste.

You can go simple and try their Jetty Punch, which is a smoothie consisting of strawberries and bananas. Want something more decadent? Try their Bahama Mama, which mixes strawberries, pineapple, white chocolate and coconut. Both are sinfully delicious and pack a ton of flavor in each slurp you make. Their current featured choice, a Watermelon Mojito, is the perfect summer pick-up with fresh cut strawberry, mint and lime inside. Yum!
Tropical Smoothie Cafe also has a line of Superfood Smoothies for the fitness enthusiast in you. These go beyond the taste and help get you in the mood for your big workout or day ahead. You can try items like their Orange Ginger Glow (mango, fresh ginger, green apple, pineapple, carrot & orange juice) while adding supplements like Vitamin C, Priobiotic or Matcha that will give you that needed boost while sipping on something magnificent.

This isn’t just a place for tasty drinks, though. Tropical Smoothie Cafe has an amazing line of food options that go from flatbreads to bowls to quesadillas and more. They have become part of what I like to call the elevated fast-casual experience that is sweeping The Big Apple and beyond, where people are getting quality ingredients for what they order during breakfast, lunch and dinner that equal the price point that they are paying.
Their BBQ Chicken Flatbread (hand-pulled chicken, coleslaw, cheddar cheese & sweet BBQ sauce) is to die for as is their Ultimate Club (ham, turkey, bacon, swiss, shredded parmesan, tomatoes, a romaine spinach blend & chipotle mayo on ciabatta) and Baja Chicken Bowl (rice, black beans, smashed avocado, romaine, pickled red onion, cheddar & roasted tomato salsa). No matter what you will leave filling filled up, satisfied and above all happy you came.
