This stunning hotel, located on 18 9th Avenue amid a ton of amazing places to shop and dine at including The Chelsea Market and Bagatelle, is the place to see and be seen at. No question about it. The area that encompasses this fabulous location has chicness written all over it as its trendy neighborhood continues to blossom with each year that passes.
Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC is known for many things, one being them hosting Kim and Kourtney Kardashian while the internationally known sisters filmed their E! reality series Kourtney & Kim Take New York.
That’s cute and all, but this location goes far beyond that notoriety with what they are able to provide their guests.
Let’s break down the goodies that come with your stay. First of all, there is a rooftop pool that you must try before the cold weather hits us like a bad habit. It is an Instagrammable space that includes breathtaking shots of Manhattan in its backdrop. What more could you ask for?
If you are hungry and jonesing for a nosh, you don’t have to go far. The Chester, located right around the corner from the hotel’s entry way, serves a ton of delectable French options including sandwiches, salads, burgers and more that will leave you feeling satisfied and full after you finish your last bite. The Chester also understands the importance of Wine Wednesday. Celebrate making it halfway through the week with 50% off select bottles of wine and select reds, whites and rosés by the glass for $7.00, from 3:30pm through closing. Treat yourself even further with a charcuterie board featuring Chef’s selection of various meats and cheeses for the day for $22.00.
There’s also a wonderful fitness center located inside The Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC and an adorable stuffed animal named Gatsby The Goose who greets you upon your room arrival (I bought mine and am thrilled that he’s my full-time companion now!)
The rooms at this location are nothing short of absolutely spectacular. There are the spacious beds that provide you with a wonderful night sleep but there’s also the gorgeous colors that adorn the space in its entirety. Rich colors, like red and purple, enhance your experience that will only further your happiness that you chose to stay here as opposed to the many other hotels that are in the area.
Bottom line: this is an amazing hotel to check into. The Ganseevort Meatpacking NYC satisfied all my needs from the moment I walked inside to the instant I left, and I look forward to the day when I can go back there for round two.
