It’s a good thing that indoor dining will resume at 25 percent capacity in 13 days. So many spaces have these gorgeous insides that make your overall experience there that much greater. Maman King, which just opened up late last month, is a great example of this.
Maman King’s newest location is situated in the heart of SoHo on 375 Hudson Street. It’s a part of New York City I simply can’t get enough of as the architecture and cute restaurants which encompass it make it a simply beautiful place to be in.
There’s a lot that separates Maman from its competitors and neighbors as the way they’ve decorated is truly mind-blowing. Throughout its spacious atmosphere you will find a ton of stunning greenery that encompasses its walls as you take in a coffee, pastry or a variety of their scrumptious sandwich and salad options.

I’ve been reviewing restaurants of all kinds for years and have never experienced something like this. That amount of green can be seen as unappetizing or too much in certain situations yet Maman King does it in a way that’s inviting, not to mention totally Instagram-worthy for any of our social media-heavy readers out there.
And the food and drink there is simply astounding. I’m someone who doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth, however their Nutty Chocolate Chip Cookie is the best damn cookie I’ve had in a while. It’s massive and is filled with a ton of ooey gooeyness that will turn anyone’s frowns upside down.
They also have a wonderful Pumpkin Spice Carrot Cake that is baked to perfection. It’s also Vegan and packs a punch of flavor with its sinfully delicious vegan cream cheese frosting.
Maman King excels in both the sweet and savory. My favorite thing to try from the latter ‘Rabbit Hole’ sandwich which consisted of wild mushrooms, caramelized onions & white wine cream baked in a cornmeal focaccia bun & topped with olive caper gremolata, arugula & a sunny egg. Yes, it tastes just as good as it sounds.
