Super Bowl 50 is coming up in only 10 short days, and many of us NYC’ers are looking to chow down on some delicious snacks, appetizers and anything else where the calorie count will have us on high regret level the next day. But who cares! It is the biggest sports day in the world and we should celebrate with some tasty treats. Luckily, here at Manhattan Digest we have some great recipes for you to create, try out and enjoy with your friends and loved ones. Made by Chef Kurt Gutenbrunner, who resides at two of the best restaurants in NYC- Wallsé and The Upholstery Store, snacks are sure to impress your guests. Outside of Kurt, there is a candy I am including at the end that is really fun for the party you are having. Take a look.

Lobster & Avocado Deviled Eggs
Ingredients:
Eggs
Mayo
Mustard
Instructions:
Cook eggs for 10 minutes – shock in cold water
Cut in half- save the yolks
Mix egg yolks with mayo and mustard
Pipe egg yolk mixture into hard-boiled egg white
Avocado Mash
1 Avocado
2 Shallots minced
1 Jalapeno (seeded +minced)
1 lemon (juiced)
Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients together
Lobster Salad:
Ingredients:
Lobster Claws +Tail
Mayo
Chiffonade Parsley
Chervil
Chives
Pinch of salt
Lemon Juice
Instructions:
Cook Lobster claw and tail for about minutes in boiling water. Mix 1/8 cup of Mayo. Add a pinch of Chiffonade parsley, chervil and chives. Add pinch of salt and lemon juice.
Fried Chicken w/Potato Arugula Salad
Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
Chicken tights
Buttermilk
3 Jalapenos
Panko
Oil
Salt
Instructions:
Smother chicken tights in buttermilk and chopped Jalapenos. Roll in Panko and fry until golden brown at 350 degrees oil. Look in the oven until inner temperature is 160 degrees. Add salt.
Potato Arugula Salad
Ingredients:
6 Fingerling Potatoes
Pink Champagne vinegar
Tsp. Mayo
1 Tsp. Mayo
Lemon Juice
1 Tsp. Olive Oil
Salt + Pepper
Instructions:
Cook potatoes slice thinly. Add pink Champagne vinegar reduced by half. Add remaining ingredients. Mix 1 part Potato salad and 1 part Arugula. Add olive oil.
