You ever just go to a place and the first word that comes to mind is… Chill? This can be exceptionally stated for Lazy Point, which is located in the sleepy stretch of Spring Street in the heart of Soho. The brand new location, opened for only about eleven months now, boasts some deliciously amazing cocktails, tasty and delectable bar fare, and some really awesome music that makes it an amazing location to go to after work with your friends or on the weekend to kick back and enjoy at.

The vibe that I got from Lazy Point upon initial entry of the location is that it reads like a Bob Marley song, minus the drugs. Just a very chilled and relaxed atmosphere, with blue and white adorning most of it. The location isn’t that large in size but it makes up for it with its decor and energy that you get while inside.

They have a fantastic line of cocktails available at your disposal as well. Some that I would recommend include The Volstead, which has Reyka Vodka, Prosecco, Elderflower and Fresh Strawberries as I tend to go for the more sweeter side when ordering an alcoholic beverage and this one really suits my needs. Another that is really tasty is the Beets By Dre, pictured to the left, which has Fords Gin, Fresh Beet, Rosemary and Lime. Tasty indeed. If you are looking for something very innovative, Pistachio Mule is the way to go. It is Pistachio infused Reyka Vodka, Lime and Fresh Ginger. Three simple ingredients that go a long way.

They also have a bunch of tasty bar food for you and your friends to enjoy. Two of my favorites from last night include their Spicy Chicken Sandwich and Lazy Point Fish Tacos, the latter having a generous portion of delicious guacamole and the former having a tasty slaw that went well with the chicken. They also have a great line of Montauk based Oysters for you to try, as well as other varieties to appreciate how delicious the Oysters actually are.
Overall, Lazy Point is a great place to visit if you are looking to get out of the freezing winter cold and into an island type setting to enjoy with your friends. For more information, check out their official site.
