The Upper West Side happens to be one of my favorite areas of Manhattan, and for good reasons. The amount of midsize restaurants run the muck across the area, many of which specialize in top notch cuisine with fantastic food options to devour. Sundays are one of the best days of the week to experience this glorious part of our concrete jungle, and we have found three spots we think you will not only like the first time you go, but want to go back time and time again.

Start your Sunday off right with some retail therapy at Grand Bazaar NYC (100 W 77th St). You’ll be pleased to find hundreds of local artists, designers and vintage/antique dealers inside and out, rain or shine. And if you’re hungry, there’s plenty of quick bites to grab. The best part of it all is Grand Bazaar donates 100% of their revenue from booth rentals, to four neighborhood public schools, benefiting over 4,000 children. Shopping has never felt so good! Next, make your way to Guyer’s (286 Columbus Ave) right down the block from Grand Bazaar NYC for a glass or two, or four of rose while sitting at the restaurant’s horseshoe shaped bar, allowing for conversation possibilities with just about anyone. We have reviewed this place before, and the ambiance and food is the real deal! Owned and operated by romance novel cover queen Cindy Guyer, aka the Female Fabio, Guyer’s offers a sexy, sophisticated atmosphere for dining and drinking at just about any hour, indoors or out. You know it’s a good day when the day turns into night, and it’ll definitely happen when you head to e’s BAR (511 Amsterdam Ave) where it’s all fun and games… literally. e’s BAR provides their guests with hundreds of board games to ensure everyone has a great time and before you know it , you’ll be closing down this neighborhood institution. They’re also known to have some of the best tacos, burgers and craft beer around (We should know, we’ve been there before). It’s the perfect end to the perfect day. Cheers! More information here.
