The Rainbow Room has got to be one of the most iconic locations I have ever been to in the city of Manhattan. It’s sort of hard to figure out where to begin just to describe how beautiful and elegant this space is, as the minute the elevator doors opened on the 65th floor inside Rockefeller Center left me and my friend completely speechless. I took my friend there this past Sunday just to experience how incredibly awesome it truly was, and was left feeling so many emotions but most of all the feeling that we just experienced something that is truly special. Andrew Zimmern & Renaissance Hotels Host “An Unusual Business Dinner”
New York City is an ever changing landscape. Finding unique spaces that embrace tradition, time and classic flavors is becoming more and more difficult as our neighborhoods disappear. This past Wednesday evening, myself and a group of fellow writers and food enthusiasts were taken on a journey by Chef, Writer, Television Host, and Global Ambassador of Renaissance Hotels Andrew Zimmern. The evening was created to encourage business travelers to experience “5 to 9” with as much vigor as they approach their “9 to 5″. Titled “An Unusual Business Dinner”, this was an exciting & unpretentious foray into what is to come for their “Global Day of Discovery” in May. The Ainsworth’s Brunch Menu Dazzles in the Heart of Chelsea
Who doesn’t love brunch in Manhattan? Seriously you need to be studied or shipped off somewhere where delicious food is nowhere to be found if this is the case. It’s everywhere here! The key is to find the good ones! I definitely found one this past Sunday at The Ainsworth, located in Chelsea on 26th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue. The key to this meal is one word: hearty. Tastefully hearty. Here’s why. [Read more…] about The Ainsworth’s Brunch Menu Dazzles in the Heart of Chelsea

Virgil’s Real Barbecue is a Tasty Standout in Times Square
Virgil’s Real Barbecue is one of the only “real” reasons I even dare to enter into tourist trap called Times Square. For as overcrowded as this area can be, there are some surprisingly delicious locations that you can find within it where you escape from the crowds and into a real barbecue heaven type of atmosphere. I took a friend there late last week to experience what Virgil’s had to offer and finished with a happy face and an overly used bib. Sugar East: Lenox Hill’s Fresh Hangout Haven Has Stellar Opening
Let me start this as a slight geography lesson, just in case you’re not too sure where the Lenox Hill section of Manhattan is located, ha ha! Lets just say Lenox Hill is the “downtown” of the Upper East Side directly adjacent to Midtown, expanding from East 60th to East 77th from East River to Park Avenue. Vin Sur Vingt in the West Village is a Wine Bar Lovers Dream
Vin Sur Vingt, located in the West Village with other spaces sprawled throughout Manhattan, is exactly what you think of when the term “wine bar” comes into play. The only time where quaint will be described in this review is due to the size of the space inside their location on West 11th Street. Because everything else they provided for us last night packed a ton of flavor, amazing execution, and of course, an amazing selection of wines. Wingstop Introduces Delicious New Brazilian Citrus Pepper Wings!
I’m always down to get some wings, no matter what my mood. Seriously they are some of my favorite types of food in the world, and Wingstop is one of the best locations to try them out! Wingstop has locations all over the United States, yet its primary one in Manhattan is located right off the 2/3 train on 125th and Lenox. I got word that they introduced a brand new flavor to their wing line called Brazilian Citrus Pepper, so naturally I made my way uptown to see what all the fuss is about!
